im so upset.. sorta preggo realted...LONG

so,many of you know my sister and i are both prego and although we are not close and have vey difernt opinions and feelings towards alot of family members( basically she hates all of them including our mother but tolerates her) this pregnacy has brought us closer .well without going in to great detail we had an arguement today because i finally confronted her about the way she acts towards these family members she despises. She is down rigth RUDE to them and when i calmly confronted her she flipped yelled and hung up on me. No i KNOW what you are goign to say its hormpones on both ends well its not.. i told her off once before and i was far from pregant and back then she told me she didnt want me as her sister stopped talking to me and then when i didnt call and kiss her butt she started talking to me and we never spoke about the incident. So she had also agreed to watch my baby for the first 6 months after i go back to work well thats out teh window even if this gets resolved i realized i dont want someone with such a short temoper to watch my kid not that i think she would ever harm the kid..
Anyway i cant styop crying i guess i hoped that this pregnacy was finally brigng us together for good and now we are back to where we were.She has no problem with me she just has it with my family9 my moms side i shoudl say, whole big divorce issue) and anytime the topic comes up she gets defensive i was calm i swear as i usually am she flipped and she yelled first and hung up on me so i want to say well then screw her but its hard.. her shower is coming up and everytying what do i do?

I'm sorry this is upsetting you. It's very hard to get between family members who are having problems. I would let her deal with the family members she depises however she wants to because it's really up to the family members to say something. Concentrate on working on your relationship with your sister and that's it.

I would call her and tell her your sorry for saying anything.. if things are going good for the 2 of you, why even bring stuff up?

There will be other times in life to talk about how she treats family members, maybe with the 2 of you being pregnant its not the right time to do so..

Sounds like she's doing what she knows best - cutting off people she loves when they dont adhere to her demands.

Having babies together can still make you closer. You just need to decide if it's worth the stress if she is trying to get you to cut off family members too.

i knwo this isnt the best time but like i said i shortened the story it all came up because of the fact of who she is and isnt inviting ot the shower and so on.. you know what i think thats it was fanatasy that this pregnacy was bringing us closer i think its better off seeing eac other as little as possible and my baby wil have plenty of other family to lover him or her and plenty of other coiusin to play with. She is the one cutting people off.Thanks everyone

I know how you feel - my sister and I are not close at all...in fact, she has yet to react or congratulate us on having a baby....she is missing out on a lot right now by doing this....big s to you b/c I know exactyl how you feel!
