Need Airline Ticket Advice
DH has to fly down to Florida for a wake and funeral. What airlines/websites should I check for the cheapest rates?

Jetblue tends to be pretty cheap. Check them out & see what prices they have.

I agree with Jetblue. Out of Islip, Southwest Airlines is also inexpensive.

Its because its the end of spring break. I am coming up tomorrow from MCO to LGA and the tickets were going for over $400

I was going to say Jet Blue as well. I wonder if you call them and explain the situation if they can cut you a further break. Can't hurt to try, right?

I know! I think the exact price (the lowerst one) I got quoted was 484...thats a TON of money to spend but its my shower so not a heck of a lot of options.

I can help look
It would be nice to fly out of Islip - but if he has to JFK is fine.
He would fly into Ft Myers.
We are just waiting to see when the arrangements are for - to know exactly when he is going.

Try to check all the FL airports...It could be a PITA but it might be cheaper to fly into Ft. Lauderdale, West palm or something like that, rent a car and drive the 4 hours over
(ALthough I don't know if you guys have time limitiations)

That might be fine. He is just looking to go down quick and come back quick - so he is not leaving me home alone - pregnant.
