Sorry, been workin all day, I missed it. But I still think it!! ETA -- yes it was so kind of our leader to cut his vacation short....ahem .... but maybe he gets tomake it up double!!
Also ETA -- I am so relieved DH didn't go down to "help" - he would be dead by now!

Only thing that doesnt freak me out is the whole Noah's arc story - and how God said he'd never flood the earth and kill all the people every again. But he sure seems to be flooding parts of it one at a time and killing a LOT of people!

Not for nothing (I said the same thing on LIW)....
With all the crap thats going on in New Orleans right now.... I think its time we bring in the Army and National Guard to go KICK SOME A__.
There are too many looters and a-holes and such getting away with TOO MUCH.
This country pays TONS of taxes to keep our military nice and strong. I think its time to put some of that to good use. That town needs order BAD.
I think if I am a looter... and I see some gargantuan tank with major firepower coming my way.... I run (er... swim) to the hills!

Thats what I am saying! I think the idiots shooting at the medial personnel is what does it for me.
Bring in the armed forces... have them kick some a--. Then have them stationed there indefinitely (kinda like NY was right after 9/11) to make sure nothing continues. The water will eventually start to recede. Then its time to rebuild.

Yeah, I'm a little surprised there isn't more military there. If the snipers & looters are preventing evacutaion, then they definitnely need to be stoppped.
