Is/Was your shower a surprise?
I asked that mine not be because at that point, I just want to know so i can look decent and not have anxiety over it. I had so much anxiety over my bridal shower that I just don't know if I can go through that again! So i'm just wondering abotu everyone else.

Mine was yesterday, I knew about it all along (I wanted to).
I also knew about my Bridal Shower, I'm not a big fan of surprises like that!

Kinda- I knew it was in August... So I def. was able to look good ( anytime I was invited anywhere I just knew to look my best!)
The day of my actual shower I had no clue until I pulled up and saw all the cars in front of my moms house!
I still had major anxiety about it though- in a good way!

I told my mother months before I was pregnant that I want to know when it is.
I almost passed out at my bridal shower - cause they scared the C r a p out of me  . So I asked my mother to tell me. I said I don't want to know details, I just want to know what day.

Same here.
I also had one in CO and it wasn't a surprise as surprise showers of any kind aren't the norm out here. It was nice knowing.

Mine was yesterday too! I was kind of surprised, I mean I knew it had to be soon since I am due in 3 weeks!

We want to see pics from your showers ladies!!!!! Mine will not be a surprise but that is only because I am on bedrest and my big days out are twice a week for about 4 hours to see all the wonderful drs and have a million tests done...

I knew when I was going up to NY To see my family that I was having a small one, but didn't know when.
Then I was told about a diaper shower at my church which was a month ago...
and now I think my SIL is up to something!

My shower was supposed to be a surprise.. but my family waited so darn long to have it.. I had no choice in knowing.. lol.. They still tried to keep it a surprise and I "acted" surprised.. but I wish it would have been earlier!

Mine wasn't a surprise since I was living in Ireland when I was preggo. It had to be planned in January when I was visiting. I really liked knowing. I don't think I would want it to be a surprise, even though I usually like surprises.

i know about mine i asked that it be thanksgiving weekend since my maid of honor will be in town and wanted her to be there for my baby shower i also made my invite and favors along with my games and thank u cards. im a big planner for everything plus my sil is due two weeks after me so we had to figure out which worked for both of us.

i had 2. One was a co-ed baby shower at a hall. That one we knew about. The second one was jus women in my dads backyard, that was a suprise.

I'm sure mine will be a surprise but my Mom has to fly in from out of state so its kind of a give away. Like my bridal shower, she told me she was flying up for a "gathering" LOL I was like "When do you EVER go to "gatherings???" So I pretty much knew which weekend it would be...especially since she stays WITH me when she comes to town.
