I know you were missing for awhile & I was debating about emailing you to check in but didn't want to intrude. I know that being a mom is really difficult - and I can't imagine how it is to adopt two sons from a foreign country with a language, custom, social barriers, etc.
Sometimes being told over & over again that you're an inspiration can make people feel like they have a standard to uphold. My best friend is a single mom (of an adopted 5 year old) who just finished battling breast cancer - and to hear people say they admired her was very burdensome.
I just wanted you to know that while we all truly admire you, we also know that you're perfectly human. You get frustrated as we all do, you get overwhelmed as we all do...probably more so being a single mom. We're here to support you no matter how fabulous we think you are & no matter how unfabulous you think you're doing.
