I feel Sick

I think I have a stomach Virus

All day I didnt feel 100% and then right after I ate my dessert I threw up 5 times......and now my stomach feels very wierd.

Danielle is sleeping upstairs and I am sleeping downstairs - in case it is the stomach virus - she doesnt want it

Thanks everyone - This stinks - I have a project due on friday - and there is no way I can go in if I am going to be sick to ny stomach all day

What do you think i can eat tomorrow? I guess I will have to put a hold on eating my Nutru System food

I had this a month ago - it ***** - ok you can eat first fluids - like gingerale, tea, apple juice, gatoraide, pedialite that type of thing -

When that stays down well - you can eat very bland food - BUT do it slowly eat too much or the wrong things and you can set yourself back.

I usually try beef broth - you can put a very small amount of rice or pasta plain into the broth (very small amount) - you can try saltines, town house crackers, plain scambled eggs (NO oil) but you can add salt and pepper for some flavor. very ripe bananas. These are things my dr suggested - some plain toast, applesauce are some others. Eat very small portions and just nibble until you know it is staying down okay.

If you are still Nausous try Emetrol - it is an over the counter anti nausau medications that is okay for adults and children.

Fell Better Scott I am home sick myself i have temp and my throat hurts and my stomach hurts realy bad i think i came down with the virus myself! Here are some hugs for you

Thanks everyone - I just woke up - Danielle called from school to see how I was. Otherwise I propbably could of slept till noon. I feel very blah this morning. I stomach is making noises, my throat hurts, and I am very tired.

I dont even think I have any food in the house. I think I may have oatmeal, brown rice, broth, and some bananas, oh yeah and crackers. We had to go food shopping this week.

Oh sounds like you have that nasty stomach virus that's going around. From what I hear it doesn't last too long so hopefully are you are feeling much better by the end of the day today!

Scott - I'd stay away from anything that will weigh heavily on your stomach. Do you have any bread to make toast?
