Walmart.....w/poll
How do you feel??
I love Walmart especially the one in the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa
edited to say I dont buy clothing there but food,snacks,paper goods,get film developed and cleaning products.....It is so cheap and everything is all in one store!!!!

I won't shop there because I come from a very pro-union family and there are a lot of issues with them not treating their workers well.
But there also is not one near me; I'd really have to go out of my way to find one.

I much prefer Target. Target is just cleaner, shorter lines...And the Walmart near me only makes announcements in spanish now, which kind of bothers me because, hey, I don't know spanish. Target I love, love, love!

Walmarts on LI are crap compared to other places in the country!! I shop at one in PA...western Poconos and its so clean, organized and very rarely do we ever have to wait on line...and this is on a Sat afternoon!! 
I go to the one in Centereach and I feel dirty when I get out!!  like Im shopping in a cheap, crappy store!!!

Same here. Also, the few times I have been with someone else in a Walmart on LI, I have found them to be dirtier and less staffed than Target.

I LOVE their prices, and find them much cheaper than Target (although I like Target better)
i usually buy all my shampoo' s paper towls, cat foodt, etc.

I usually prefer Target than Walmart, but I find Walmart cheaper. I just bought a 42-cup coffee urn for $16 cheaper at Walmart.

it all depends....I really hate getting all dressed up to go to WalMart...its Kind of a big PITA. If i'm on my way to wedding or something then I try to leave the house a little early to hit the Walmart...I figure I might as well not waste getting all dressed up.
but seriously...I prefer Target....Walmart always seems messy and overloaded with merchandise.

I agree although for me it's not union, its the environment, the memo about handicapped and elderly people and all the other shady things they do. I think they are probably the worst out of all the super stores in America.

The Setauket one is much nicer than the others. I got some great Christmas sales there on electronics.

I lose IQ points for every moment I am in THAT store
Needless to say, I voted that I hate it.
Someone sent me a present that they ordered on walmart.com...it took me 45 minutes to return it, WITH a receipt.

I LOVE Walmart. IMO you cant compare it to Target. I also love Target but if I had a long list of toiletries and various things I needed to get I know my dollar will go further in Wal Mart.

I prefer Target... just a nicer store. I've only been in a Wal-mart maybe three times though. The one I went to in NC is ridiculous - it was like an entire shopping mall!

I think I've only been 3 times. I went to the one in Centereach AGES ago. . . ( before we had Target around here & tht was the only Wal-mart)
I have been to the one in East Meadow twice. It was ok. Siince I don't live on LI, I haven't shopped there enough to love or hate it.
I'll have to see what the new White Plains one is like.
ETA: Target can be nasty too. . .I once purchased a USED shower curtain from them. Actually 2 used shower curatins. But they took it back with no problems.

I hate Walmart, although I have only been to ones in the tri-state area. They are gross, unclean, and always unorganized - a mess. I never shop there!
