do you usually read what everyone else wrote or just put yours in?

I read every post.
If my advice or info has already been said, especially, info then I don't respond.
A few months ago, someone asked for directions. I gave very specific ones (I think I was the first responder), including landmarks. I checked back on the thread and at least 4 other people posted the exact same directions as me. And not immediately after either. I kept thinking... hello, does anyone read?

I read original posters post then I skim through some responses and definitely cut out the REAL LONG responses. Short and sweet is my style

if someone asks for directions and i see that there are a few responses with the correct directions, i don't add anything, unless i can think of a faster way.
