Baptism Question
How old was your DC when you had the baptism? I was thinking of doing it in January, when James will be about 4 1/2 months old. Did most people do it when they were younger? Thanks!

Jake was 5 months old. He was born in November and I had it in April. I didn't want to have it in the winter months just in case we had a bad snow storm.

DS will be christened exactly at 4 months. My godson was christened at 6 weeks.

yeah the snow possibility scares me, but I like that date in Jan bc I'll be off the next day We'll see though.

He was born the very last week in June-so we had it in Aug.

We had Luka's 3 days before he turned 5 months old. It seemed to work really well and he handled going person to person.

DD was only 4 weeks old. We did it this early since we had family in town already for another occasion. The church would only "pencil" us in for it before she was born, but then was no problem once the time came.
She was the youngest--by far--of all the kids that day.

Ella was 2.5 months. I did it quickly because I wanted to have it outside in the backyard. That didn't happen though, thanks to Ernesto
