Update: Saw my grandfather today
He is home. Bless him, his spirits are so strong. He was out in the garden (putting stakes in for his tomatoes!), walking around the house, and eagerly following the World Cup. He is still weak but in tolerable pain and he told me that he want to live at least 25 more years.
His family genes are amazing. His 92 y/o sister in Italy had a stroke in Jan and was in a coma for a few weeks. They thought she was going to pass on yet now she is walking on her own and home! Let's hope he has some good years left in him!
