I have 3 - a GM card which I usd for a few years and got cashed in to get close to $2000 back on my leased truck. I have an American Express card which I get points on, and I have a CitiCard, which I get back 2% on all purchases, 5% on gas and supermarkets.
Neither DH or I have any debts at all, except our mortgage. If we use a cc, it is paid off at the end of the month. We use cash for everything else.

We have about 2 cards each. I have $0 debt, DH has a few hundred in debt.
We're pretty good with not buying things we cant afford.

Our debt is old, mostly from before we were married. We RARELY charge anything. But we have a lot of CC debt. So, we now have all of it on 0% and we have a budget set up so it should all be paid off by the end of 2006. This would make me very happy, considering the amount we owe is way too high!

i owe too much !!!!!!!!!! dont really charge too much anymore- old cc card debt from when i was a student teacher/asst making crap pay!!!!!!!!!!

lets just say Master card and Visa target dumb nieve college students. Then when you work for a credit card company you pretty much can get almost whatever card you want. We both had high debt from college, got it all paid off and taken care of because we knew we were getting the house.
Now we have only 2 and we are slowly paying them off. We burried them in the drawer so out of site out of mind. Often at times feels like they'll never get paid off

we have a few cc's between us, but we never carry any balances over (we pay them in full each moth).. so i dont really consider it CC Debt (because we dont use it to buy things that we can't afford- just to get cash back on everyday things that we need)
