Thank you  Just make the appt and go - I had a consult in October...kept putting it off, finally just made and appt and WENT.

yeah, we went to Daves. Didn't feel like trekking all the way out to Smokey Bones.
I'm a little concerned though - all of the novacaine has worn off (I can feel all my teeth/tongue, etc..) but I still have a tingly pins and needles feeling in my bottom lip/chin. I can't feel them.
The surgeon said that my bottom teeth were VERY close to the nerve that runs through the jaw and when he wiggled them to remove them, the root may have touched the nerve, which means temporary numbness/paralysis for a few days or a few weeks
Novacaine was administered 4.5 hours ago - Surgeon said its definitely worn off by now... 
I know what you mean...i got ONE out in May and was numb in 1/2 my tongue for about 3 months!!! NO JOKE!!!! It turned partial to tingling and finally gone!!! However my oral surgeon is also my uncle so it may have been a sick joke!!!!

I DEFINITELY have an appetite- but can only eat non-chew foods this whole weekend ....pudding, milkshakes, soup, all with spoons (no straws, risk of dry socket.)

Do you see my little monkey on my headboard? lol - that was a pre-surg present from my guilt-ridden man.... he's working til 3, then partying at Westbury Manor til 7 30!  Some work function for untenured teachers....
