Update on Today's Sono
Well we got good news - the cysts disappeared from both babies brains!  Ok that was the good news. Then we found out my cervix went from 3.7 to about 2.4 - its supposed to be above 3. Then the doc did an internal and found my cervix is soft!  So they hooked me up to check for contractions - none. Baby A's head is way down so they're concerned of pre-term labor. I have an OB appt Saturday so we'll see what he says. I'm so scared that they'll be born too early.  They are 1 lb 5 oz and 1 lb 7 oz so they're growing, they just need to grow a lot more before they can be born. So that's my update hopefully Saturday I'll find out more. Did anyone have a soft cervix so early - or does anyone know if it can become "hard" again? TIA!
Update: I have to stay on bedrest until Saturday (my OB appt.). They're going to do an FFN test to check to see what the likelihood of me going into preterm labor is. I'll let you know how it goes. We need lots of prayers!!!

I'm sorry, I don't know the answers to your questions.
Bu, I have and that everything will be OK. Thank God about the cysts. I heard that was common, but it is still very nerve racking.

The first part is great news ...Congrats!
second part, someone had told me that they had something called a "collage" done maybe another poster can describe this. She said almost the same type of stuff as you except it stops the baby from pushing out the cervix. Inquire about this. Good luck to you!

Hang in there. My cervix was measuring 3.0 early on in my pregnancy and has stayed around the same throughout. You most probably will be put on bedrest the remainder of your pregnancy so be prepared. The cerlage that someone spoke about cannot be done at this point (they only do it earlier on in the pregnancy).
But great news about the cysts going away. I will keep you guys in my prayers this weekend!

They may end up keeping you on bedrest. That is great news about the cysts. Get some rest and try not to stress. Hopefully the OB will have good news for you

Laura, first the positives - so HAPPY that the cysts went away! That is EXCELLENT news
As for your cervix being soft, I'm sorry about that - I can imagine its upsetting to hear 
I do agree with the other ladies - I think at this point your doctor will evaulate you and/or monitor you more closely and perhaps put you on bedrest, esp. since you are carrying twins. The babies seem to be growing at a great rate so I'm sure that with the proper rest, etc, you will keep those little ones baking for a long time to come
edited: I see you posted that you'll be on bedrest until Saturday. RELAX and try not to worry .. I'l pray for very positive news for you on Saturday in the meantime!

Good news about the cysts. A friend of mine had a similar thing happen with her baby and all was fine.
Sorry to hear about the bedrest. keep cooking, little ones!!

Be prepared to remain on bedrest. At least you are not contracting which is very good. They will probably also want to give you steriod shots to help mature the babies lungs in the event you do deliver early. I'll keep you in my prayers!

I think it is good that you are not having contractions. I don't anything about a soft cervix, but I will keep you all in my thoughts. I would think though that bed rest is probably imminent.
