What I do think, and this is for every child, no matter what the circumstances of the home is that they all should be exposed to strong male and female role models no matter who their parents are. This especially holds true in single-parent households. Males being raised in female head of households need a strong male role model (uncle, family friend) that they can identify with and vice-versa for females.

I also agree. I am also a teacher and have had a situation where two woman adopted their foster kids and thank god, because without these two woman, who knows what would have happened to these children. I do believe that they could benefit from a male role model.

I do not see what the problem with same sex couples adopting is. My best friend is gay, and I know that it saddens him that people still have a problem with this.

I support same sex coples adopting children. I have a frined who is gay & he & his partner have been trying to adopt for a long time & have not been able to. He & his partner are great loving & caring men who love children just as much as any heterosexual couple would.

Just because a couple is boy - girl does NOT make them a better candidate to raise children... So long as the child is treated well is fine by me!

my feeling is as long as the parents are committed as much as opposite sex parents are, and the child grows up in a loving, nurturing home, there is no issue.
