Just remember you are doing what is best for YOU. In the end, that is all that matters. I can understand the nervousness, though. When it is all over and done you will feel a huge weight off your shoulders.

You are not leaving your boss in a lurch. You're giving ample notice. Really if it were the perfect job, you wouldnt' be leaving.
Breathe out slowly...try to stop yourself from smiling when you hand it to her.

I remember being sick to my stomach for days over having to give notice. But in the end I went in there with my head held high and said "this is what is best for me" and stood my ground (my boss was surprised  and tried to get me to stay) ... but afterwards I felt such a relief that there was an end in sight that I was able to finish up my duties and leave there HAPPY and ON GOOD TERMS.

what if they offer you more money to stay?
