Just read Everyone Worth Knowing by Lauren Weisberger which was enjoyable and light. Now reading About a Boy (Nick Hornby)...love some other Nick Hornby stuff

Based on recommendations from this thread, I've finished:
The Giver (pretty good! Reminded me of The Anthem by Ayn Rand a little)
Water for Elephants (really good, I liked this one a lot)
Took out yesterday from the library:
Sammy's Hill
Sammy's House
(both by Kristin Gore)
Requested from another library:
Tell me where it hurts by Dr. Nick Trout
(non-fiction written by a veterinarian about his work)

By the way, I'm in Bobbie Flay's at SmithHaven Mall waiting for food when a waitress comes over with it and says, "Oh I love that book!" (I was reading The Giver)
I said, "You read it too?"
She said, "Yea, like in sixth grade!"

I just finished reading It Had To Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips.
It didn't sound like something I would like but my SIL who loaned it to me thought the same thing and ended up liking it so I gave it a shot. A little slow at first and kinda predictable but I really liked it.

It's pretty short and I read in a few hours. It was hard read at times but I just couldn't put it down. It's being made into a movie called Precious, I can't wait to see it next Friday.

I think I saw a preview for this movie. I didnt know it was a book...I'll have to pick it up from the library.

Right now I'm reading "Holy Cow". A co-worker gave it to me and I've been reading it on the train. Its really interesting, and reminds me of "Eat, Pray, Love" which I read over the summer. This just goes way more in depth about India.
