The Hidden Child by Camilla Lackberg. A lot of reviews I've seen compare her to Stieg Larsson, I hope that's not just because she's a Swedish writer. It's got pretty good reviews though.

Picked up Imperial Bedrooms by Bret Easton Ellis.
It's a sort of sequal to Less Than Zero. It starts with "They had made a movie about us." Brilliant beginning.

The Witching Hour - Anne Rice
My first Anne Rice book ever and its pretty good, not sure if I'm going to read the other 2 in the series though.  This is a loooong book to just be "ok" for me.

I changed my mind and picked this up instead of The Hidden Child. I'm only about 50 pages in but I'm not that into it. I'll continue reading it for now though.

It took me a good 100 pages to get into it, so give it more time. The book was good, but not great. I loved the idea of it, but I really didn't care for Emma & Dex too much. It's hard to really enjoy a book when you don't like the main characters!
