I am reading "Let The Right One In" ... It is friggin' CREEPY! I usually don't go for horror.. but the movie was really kind of sweet. The book is different and the characters are way more menacing.

The Best of Times by Penny Vincenzi.
The prologue depicts a major accident on a highway in England. The rest of the story focuses on 5 or 6 characters, their lives and how they all came to be on this highway at the time of the accident.

Just finished Mercy by Jodi Picoult, it was the first one of her books that didn't pull me in right away. It was just kinda blah for me.
Just started All Together Dead by Charlaine Harris.

Just finished "Sex, Drugs & Cocoa Puffs", I liked it, but I think if I ever hung out with the author, by the end of the night I'd end up punching him in the face lol

Just Finished the Pleasure Palace-sounds like soft porn, but it's not-it a Henry VIII book. I'm such a sucker for these themes.
Just started Perfect Match-still making my way through Jodi Picoult.

I love The Giver!!!! I love Lois Lowry! There are 2 companion books to The Giver too. I really need to read them.
I cant get into them. Ive tried to read Gathering Blue at least a dozen times and I just dont connect with it for some reason. Number the Stars is great.

We're DEFINITELY going to have to discuss this when you're done. It's one of my all-time FAVORITES. When I have the "right" kind of 10th grade class, I teach it, and it's always their favorite book. (I've only taught it three or four times, though, in nine years.) I hope you're loving it.

Just finished "The Giver", I really liked it but i wanted there to be more! It ended so quick to me, but it was good.
Just ordered Kathy Griffins new book, so that will be next!
