Oh honey! What a tough day for you!  I hope she hangs on until at least Monday and then is so overcome with emotion for your lil  that she gets back to a more positive point. Its so hard ot see someone you love start the negative thinking - thats what we went through with dh's mom so I understand. If you need anything, fm me!!!

Hang on Grandma I know mine would go today if she could even with her first great- grandchild on the way. She misses my grandpa so much. I feel so badly for both of them- it must be so hard to be old.
I hope she holds on for you

I am so sorry you are going through this. I completely understand what you are going through, tho. I truly hope and pray that your Grandmother hangs on and gets stronger and well enough to meet and enjoy that baby of yours b/c I wouldn't want anyone else to deal with the type of saddness that I have lived with this whole past year.
Last year, my Grandfather (whom I was very close to) gave up his fight to live - on my due date. I went into labor at the funeral home during the first night of the wake, and my daughter was born less than 48 hours after he passed.
So many people told me that my daughter will ALWAYS have a very special "connection" to my grandfather, b/c of the way her birth coincided with his death. Honestly, that doesn't make the pain of losing him any easier to bear...but in years to come, I do hope that she understands how excited he was to know that she was on her way, and how he *knew* from the moment I told him that I was expecting, that she would be the first girl!
You'll be in my thoughts! I will pray for you, your Grandma and your family.

I know exactly how you are feeling. I lost my grandfather to ALS the day after my son came home. Thank GOD my son came 9 days early, I truly feel my grandfather was holding on to see my son. I had so much anxiety going into the hospital having everyone tell me how poorly my grandfather was doing, I think it helped me push him out. We did not even drive home first from the hospital, we went straight to my grandparent's house. It made a world of difference for EVERYONE. I hope your daughter is able to meet her great grandmother.
