Deb, just read your latest update -- as usual, your optimism and courage overwhelm me in such a positive way - and all I can say is that I'm truly proud to call you a friend

On a serious note... as you know... "One day at a Time". That's all you can do.
And now for the cheap laughs as per your request...
Many girls dream of being on the cover of Vogue... well, la di dah... Vogue, Shmogue... you'll be on the cover of "American Brain" or whatever the journal is called I can see it now, Naomi, Giselle, they can't get this gig...
They have to put you on the cover... this definitely warrants a cover shot... Darn, no more Richard Avendon... ok, I guess this will be Barb's big break to shoot the photos
Now let's talk designers... I'm thinking Vera Wang could do a couture gown in the lovely bluish greay scrubs material... and just for traditional sake, of course, the back would have to be left wide open... "Moon River..." everybody sing
Oh, and makeup... all I can think of is Bobby Brown but we might want to go full on glam 
I'll work on all of this and get back to you I saw "The Devil Wears Prada" twice so I'm an expert now
Now I know you are married to Stud-Muffin but are any of these doctors "eye-candy" in their own right? or do most of them look like the Nutty-Professor? You are going to be spending a lot of time with them. I hope at least one is "easy on the eyes"

I just read your whole story and between blurred vision and my sniffles, I have managed to create a thought......
That thought is how amazing of a person you are!!!
Not once did you take pity on yourself or tell us how scared or upset you are. You have incredible courage and I pray for your speedy recovery and a lifetime of happiness and great memories with your new beautiful baby...

Wow- Deb- how overwhelming for you and your family. It sounds as if they have a concrete plan mapped out and they have you in their hands.But that is certainly a lot of information to absorb in one day.

I forgot to add- you asked for inspirational stories- I doubt these two examples had the same type of cancer since your's is so rare but they both had aggresive brain tumors. One is my cousin's wife and the other is a childhood friend. Both are currently cancer free. And both have very inspirational stories of overcoming this horrible cancer.
I will tell you my cousin's wife story first since thinking about it she reminds me a great deal of you. She is an extremely positive person who's husband is in the military and as a result deployed a lot. Andrea was the parent of two young boys less then two years apart when she was diagnosed over 4 years ago. My cousin was sent home to care for her and the two kids for an extended period of time and he would send us updates about how courageous his wife was. He said she was in excruciating pain and would not complain in order not to scare her boys. Through surgery and radiation she is now been cancer free for over two years and they adopted a little girl from Gutuamala last summer. I know in my heart she wouldn't have done this is she thought she wouldn't be around to raise her.
Her husband is now deployed again and I know she is very busy with the three kids. But I also know Andrea has a huge heart(again a lot like you) and would love to talk if you need a mom who has been there. I will FM her email if you would like and let her know all about you.
I will share my childhood friend's story later. He is doing really well health wise but they had a personal tragedy so I think that one will wait.
