we were not allowed to eat sugar cereral but on the RARE occassions that we were allowed, i always chose honey combs.
Same here.. I wasn't allowed ANY "junk cereal" growing up .. NO exceptions! Only corn flakes and the like... maybe shredded wheat
On a VERY VERY rare occassion, my mom would give us Rice Krispies.. but I had a horriblly gross experience with them once and 'till this day will NOT eat them

I loved Cocoa Puffs, Lucky Charms, Cheerios...
By the way, there was a cereal in the 70's called Crazy Cow, I think. I loved it and ate it all the time!! It was just like Cocoa Puffs but had a cow on the box. Does it sound familiar to anyone? Another great great cereal: S'mores Crunch!! It was around in the 80's but they discontinued it. I loved that one!!!

I loved the original Cookie Crisp.
