The boats already rocking, but not in her favor. Thats why you need to either tell the girl in a peaceful manner (because you dont want further problems) or just not pay. To continue what you are doing by paying for her is not going to resolve the matter. I hate these kind of problems. People are so inconsiderate sometimes!

Just an idea...not to punish yourself but can you get coffee without any of them??? I tend to do that in my office because by time we are done with the million dollar order my one dollar bagel has been divided up and it costs me 5 dollars.

UGH I hate stuff like that. I dont think that simply asking her where her money is is rocking the boat. If you are going to the store ask her for it. If she knows you went and complained she didnt get her anything tell her you didnt get her money the last time you went so you assumed she wasnt interested.
I think it also depends on how A & B feel about it - if they feel the same as you then you can approach her together. You dont work for anyone else but yourself!

A and B don't feel the same, they don't care about the money, they make more and are not saving for a baby.
Plus A and B are just genuinely nice people and like to do stuff like this for people.
Last but not least, a and b are my direct bosses but C is just a co-worker.

next time you get coffee- whe you get back, you should give her her 'Change'.
then when she says, Oh, but i never gave you any money"
say, "Oh, really???. ok, then yours is $X.xx"
(or you could say 'oh, i hadn't though you realized that?", but that may Rock the boat a tad)

I agree with everyone else, but do have my 2 cents to add.
I had a co-worker that is constantly picking up a Starbucks Venti for me --when I didn't order it. She'll do it RIGHT after I had my own. While she's doing it to be nice, it gets tossed out. Finally I said, "I appreciate you getting it for me, but I usually order one with my lunch - so if you can just skip me or if you're going down ask me first."
With the moocher, I would either ask for money before I get it or when I hand her the Starbucks say "Yours was $__" If she says she doesn't have the money right now, just say I'll add it to your tab - and then remind her she owes it to you.
I don't envy you - asking for money *****.

Be careful though with the "no money no latte thing" because she may turn around and say well this wasnt an issue before or something.
It may be better to just confront her and say hey you know we're saving for a baby and money is tight I would really appreciate it if you would chip in for the coffee. If you dont want to get any coffee just let me know.
Something kind because like you said you do work very closely with this person and you dont want to start an issue over something like coffee.

Thank you for all your replies! I have decided to go witht the chicken out approach I don;t need to be spending $3 a day on coffee while we are saving for a baby anyway so instead of confrontation I am going with avoidance! I am just going to remove myself from the coffee circle!
