Bones in Her Pocket (a short like 60-page story)
Just finished The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty which i though was good!

My bff gave me "I Slept With Joey Ramone", a biography by his brother. I'm a HUGE Ramones fan and this book is amazing. Joey Ramone (Jeff Hyman of Forest Hills rip) was so bullied throughout his childhood it's unreal.
I actually met Joey and the boys back in the day at an album signing at HMV in the city. He was super scary looking irl but a quiet guy.

Just finished The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult. One of the most powerful books I've ever read.
Loved this more than any other book I've read this year.

What are you reading right now??
Just read Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline for BC, loved it!
I also finished The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman which has sparked a Gaiman obsession. Almost through Neverwhere and on the waitlist for American Gods at the library.

The Book thief.
Everyone loves it and yet I am finding the writing style and who the narrator is to make it SO difficult to get into, but gonna try to finish it.

I was really taken by surprise because the book jacket really gives no clue as to what the book is going to be about. I don't read a lot of Holocaust literature because I find it very difficult and upsetting to read, but I'm so glad I read this.
I will say that after I finished, I started googling Holocaust Memorial and Rememberance organizations to see how/where I could volunteer.

I picked this up after reading these posts. I'm about 1/4 of the way through & I cannot put it down.
