First Meetings - Orson Scott Card
(Part of the Ender's Game series)
How is the rest of the Ender's series? I just recently read Ender's Game because my DH would NOT have let me see the movie without reading the book first, but he didn't even know there were more books in the series.
It's interesting. You can kind of see his progression. Ender's Game was originally a novelette (and his last name was Wiggins, not Wiggen, like in the full novel). Some of the pre-war and post-war plotlines are a little different.

I like Card's writing style, so I enjoyed all of the other stories so far. Hopefully I can get to all of the short stories in the Ender Universe, especially "The Hive Queen", which I believe is the story of the Formics from their point of view.
That sounds pretty cool! I'll have to check them out. It did take me a little while to get used to his writing style, but I wound up really liking it. I'll have to check them out!

Just finished The Husbands Secret. It was just okay.
I'm finishing up Me Before You right now.
I liked The Husbands Secret, but wasn't my favorite. Reading What Alice Forgot now.
Me Before You is next on my list, how do/did you like it?
I just read "The Husband's Secret." I liked it, but really liked "What Alice Forgot" much better. It was a more interesting concept to me.
Reading "Me Before You" now for book club. About 3/4 of the way through.
I think I am going to read "Reconstructing Amelia" next!

Ugh please, I was just talking to my SIL and friend about this. I feel like Me Before You has ruined me for other books. Not that it was SO good no other book will be comparable, but it was just SO heavy at the end, I feel like I can't get into another book. I had other books planned but I needed something light so I went on and found a free sex-filled book for a distraction hahahahaha

I recently finished first 2 books in Divergent series and the Invention of Wings for a book club.
Really enjoyed the divergent books and can't wait to see in the movies now.

What are you reading right now??
Recently finished The Goldfinch its soooo long (+700pgs) and I loved most of it but kind of just wanted to get done with it by the end.
Just read Reconstructing Amanda and Still Life with Breadcrumbs (by Anna Quindlen - she is one of my all time FAVES!) Both were very good.
Now reading Me Before You - really like it so far, but only about 1/2 way through.

Rules of Civility by Amor Towles - takes place in the late 1930's - liking it. Just finished No Second Chance by Harlan Coben before that. Loved that.
