Just finished Sleep Tight by Rachel Abbott
Just started The Inside Dark by James Hankins and I'm flying through it. It's a suspense/page turner

I started this about 2 months ago but couldn't get into. But I know it got great reviews. And I want to pick it up again and finish it.
What made it hard to read for you? I didn't read Knightengale so I can't compare them.
I read Lilac Girls too. It's awesome...but disturbing. It's partly about concentration camps and the descriptions of what happened are really hard to read.

This exactly. I also didn't love the characters as much as I thought I would. Obviously not a light read at all.
Honestly, I found Nightingale a better read.
One of my favs I read a while ago was Hush about the Hassidic community. I found it interesting. I know it's totally different then WW2 books, but still real good.

Regarding Lilac Girls...
I just finished it and I want to read more of their stories. So I think I will be picking up a few books.
And the Author's Note made me cry more than the actual book did. Very powerful words.

I loved that book! I couldn't put it down. I finished The Breakdown last week by the same author and it was such a let down compared to BCD.

I just finished reading Silent Child and came on here to find another book to read. I think I will try Behind Closed Doors.
