Okay, here's the deal... go to this link and enter your address...it will show a "house", that's yours... all the little colored boxes are Sex Offenders... click on them and you get a name, address & picture of the person along with his crime... pretty amazing and scary...it shows you where they live in proximity to your home and the local schools. It also will not show your house location.

What's really scary is seeing that a sex offender who commited offenses against children lives right near the middle school in my area (in CT). I understand that you can't restrict where people live, but it bothers me that sex offenders can live so close to school grounds.

I have 2 not too far from me. One of them helped me when I put my car in a ditch. He is a registerd sex offender for: Lewd,Lascivious Child U/16.
I have 65 registered offenders in my town.

Theres only 5 in my town, and only one with a child offense but still 5 too many...scary

The one that helped me was really nice. He told me where he lived and how long he has lived there. He popped the hood for me, got a hose and filled my radiator. Hung out with me for a little and then when my hubby showed up wish me luck and that was it. I have to pass his house all the time and he always waves to me and if he sees me walking with the dog asks how my car is doing.
I just cant believe how nice he was and now I see he's on the list. I dont think any different of him - he could have just driven by and ignored me but he stopped to help me and always says hi to me. Though if he tries anything with me or when I have kids I dont think they will ever find him

OMG, we just moved to our new apt. in Texas which is a very nice and brand new building and lord and behold......There is a guy who lives here who was charged with Sexual Assault. He is a big scary Guy!!!!! Gosh, I wish I found this before we moved in this month.

What's even worse is the offender who is registered in another town and is living right around the corner. That is just NOT right. I have one around the corner, who "claims" he lives at this parents house and he lives right here with his 20 yr. old gf and 2 kids!
