My mom is so wonderful to us, but the one thing she does that annoys the shite out of me is she checks everything out, she'll walk into my apartment and I'll immediately see her eyes scanning the room, no idea what she is looking for, but she always seems to find something to comment on. We call her "the Inspector" (to her face). Aside from her nosiness, she gets an A+.

When I've talked about a decision I or DH and I are agonizing over but finally make a choice; when I tell her our decision her response is always to bring up our alternatives and say something like, "Oh, I thought you were thinking about painting the room blue. What made you go for the green?" implying that we made a bad decision. When it come to decisions around family, holidays, plans etc, it comes with a side of guilt.
She does this to all of her kids and it drives us crazy. We've already made our decision-get on board!

My mom is so wonderful I love her to pieces but there is one thing that she does that drives me nuts. Everytime she calls the house she will be like are you taking care of Gary and did you make his dinner as yet. I mean gimme a freaking break already. The other day I ask her do you think he is a damn infant.

she over talks you, I could be telling her I got struck by lightning and she is still talking abouth something my grandmother did while Im talking, and then say "what did you say?"...Well is you shut it for a second you would have heard me.

My mom thougth it would be funny to sneek behind me and poke me in the rib. Of course... that hurts! (No... it's not funny and you did not tickle me)

i love her buttttttttt lol:
she calls me everyday at 5:15 to see what i am cooking for dinner and how i am making it lol
sorry mom u never taught me how to cook, since u ALWAYS did , every freakin nite lol-but really, its not that hard
-she is a clean freak, danny tanner from full house-no joke.
-she is the most neurotic person u will ever meet
every time she leaves the house she puts the alarm on, n asks me if i lock my door
-she never let me drive-bc she doesnt really drive and will never drive on highways/parkways/anyways

She is also incapable of being on time for anything. She must run 10-15 minutes late!

Where do I begin...
I will start to tell a story and she will jump in and try to finish it and she will be completely wrong.
She is totally judgmental about everyone and everything.
She loves to talk about people behind their backs.. including me!
She is totally selfish and self absorbed..
Her way is the only right way.

Nagging.. Just today she negged me about not sending out my wedding thank you's yet. I got married in April- PG in May MC in June. PG again in August... LITTLE PREOCCUPIED!!!!!!!!!!!!

my mom is great and a wonderful lady but she makes me feel a little insecure about my marriage!
if my husband is doing somthing (other than kissing my butt)
she will be like "WHERES MIKE? WHY ISNT MIKE HOME?"
its like- DUDE - im not ONLY his life- there are OTHER things in the world than me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
as if he should be with me every second!
i have a life and he has a life- why is that wrong?
She must be related to my mom!
She always makes me feel that if my marriage is not EXACTLY like hers that is wrong.
She expects my husband and I to be up each other's butts 24/7.
Hey- that may work for you- but it's not going to work for us!

My Mom can talk and talk and talk with no regard for what you are doing......you can be on the phone and she starts and just keeps going.
Also, when she doesn't like something she'll say "well if you like it"

My mom is way too much of a planner and doesn't understand that some people don't make plans so far in advance. On Sunday, she always asks what my plans are for next weekend, knowing that I rarely make plans in advance. Then, she'll start asking me about things months in advance. Also, if I'm coming to LI for a weekend, she'll ask me at least 1 month in advance, what day/time I'll be coming in and how late I'll stay that Sunday. Her need to plan every little thing so far in advance annoys the crap out of me.

 NO WAY!!!!!!!! I thought my Mom was the only weirdo who didn't drive on highways/parkways!

My mom LOVES being early to things-she always likes to leave way in advance so she is not late to anything!
If I am in the car with her and we are going over a bridge she has to take the $ out way in advance.
She likes taking the streets everywhere-and she thinks she knows all shortcuts but really they are not!!

~My mom will never drive if I'm around - she will always, always, always make me drive. The only time I didn't have to drive was when she took me to the hospital. But since I don't remember she could have very well made my brother drive.
~She ALWAYS takes DH's side even when he's obviously wrong and asks him if I'm 'being good' to him.

Me: Hi, mom. So, today we went pumpking picking.
Mom: Oh, really? Uh-huh...
ME: Yeah, it was fun, we saw Sally and Billy and Jane....
Mom: Uh-huh...
ME: Sally said to say hi to you, do remember her?
Mom: Huh? What? Were you saying something, honey??
I SWEAR my mother has adult ADD.
She cannot focus on ANYTHING. We used to get in trouble ALL the time as teenagers because we would TELL HER, "Mom, I'm staying at so and so's house tonight," and she would say,ok! And even maybe tell us to call her when we got there or something. Then she would SWEAR that we never told her where we were going and we'd get frantic phone calls screaming about how dare we not tell her where we were going
Other than that, I have to say, I love her and she is pretty good about being a pain in my a$$

Where should I begin....Well My mom will tell me as it is also like she would say Oh that does not fit you, you need a bigger size shirt or jeans and I need to lose weight. also she is a Danny Tanner from Full house I think she cleans her house everyday and if she washed the floors you have to take your shoes off before coming in the house. If I dont call call Her for a Day or 2 she will be like What happen to you I haven't heard from you for 2 days...Mom I been working and busy. and Like I told you all I want to try to ttc next year she says to me oh you will be foolish if you try to have a baby because you just bought a house. I love my mother and she is My bestfriend but she does have her faults.
