I DESPISE when people bring their small dogs into supermarkets. Now it's not that I don't ADORE these wee little fellas..... but.... as far as I know, stores only allow seeing eye or other service type animals in them!!!! Why is it that people think it is OK to bring a dog into the store?

Defintely people who block my way when I am in a hurry and of course long lines.
I cant say too many bad things cause I worked in a supermarket for many years, my dad manages one and my stepmom is a bookkeeper at one.

And they think if they "carry" the dog its ok. Give me a break.
This happens a lot more in Manhattan than anything else... when these trendy m-fers think its "cool" to come in with their dogs in hand into dunkin donuts or some other place that deals with food.

OMG you have no Idea how annoyed I get at this. I just dont understand why people cant leave them at home?
People who park in the firelane handicapped spot and arent handicapped and people who block the apron for people to go down in wheel chairs and with thier shopping carts. STOP BEING SO LAZY!

I have most certaintly had cashiers THROW my stuff. I have had Bottles of soda tossed, not rolled, and I have had bread completly squished by the cans flying after them. Not everyone does this, but it has happened..hence it being a pet peeve of mine.
I am not a pet peeve type of person, so for me to say to someone, please dont throw my food, then they are doing something wrong in their jobs.
I have been a cashier , so I know..PEOPLE ****...BUT if I hated my job, Id get a new one or stop my complaining, Or be nice to people or get a new job, OR deal with it and place others food GENTLY down the belt...or work in the back LOL

Nothing bugs me more when I go to the supermarket than slow people and aisle dawdlers - - people who park themselves smack in the middle of an aisle with their cart and stare blankly at the shelves oblivious to the people around them trying to get by!
What bugs you at the supermarket?
especially in Manhattan where the aisles are so small that two ppl can barely fit through as it is!
i also HATE that every time i leave the store and check my receipt i have been double charged for at least one thing and have to go back

I hate it when people that can go during the week or off hours go shopping on the weekends... It drives me crazy!!
If I didn't work full time I would get all of my stuff done during the week so I wouldn't have to deal with the crowds

People who are in la-la land as the walk around the supermarket and just slam into you
or stop suddenly while you are right behind them.
This is mine. I actually had someone walk right into me & slam the cart against my legs. I looked at her & said "excuse me" and she got all "well, you stopped" I made sure she did not drive out of the lot after me

aas much as I love grocery shopping, I can't stand when.....
- you are looking at the items on a shelf and someone stands in front of you.
- people have their shopping cart in a death grip while they look at the meat and block the whole section.
- people with too many items go in the express lane because they consider 10 cans of corn is one item.
- when the cashiers pack in such a way that you end up with a dozen double bags for 20 items.
- when people leave their carts on the line yet continue to shop.

I HATE it when people park their carts right in the middle of the aisle. They have no consideration for anyone else. I constantly have to either say excuse the whole time I am there or move their cart because they choose to not hear me asking them to move.
Also, people who decide to talk on their cell phone and walk incredible slow in the middle of the aisle because they are too busy BSing on the phone
I am so considerate to people around me, I wish others would do the same.
