I don't save really save them but then I have access to my company payroll records - I can easily get a copy.

I have pay stubs back to when I first started working in 1996 
I keep all pay stubs. Ya never know when you'll need them

i have to say that the pay stubs are in disarray in my house. i leave them in different place. my pocketbook, work bag, drawers etc...

I save only the first and last paystub of any year that had passed. During the current year, I keep all of them until the end of the year where I verify the amounts from my last paycheck with my W2.
For the current year, I keep them unopened since I have direct deposit and I check everything online through the company's intranet website as well.
