I am sorry to hear that the school did not inform you that your son got hurt...
but look at the Upside! If he hadn't gotten hurt, you would not have discovered the tumor. God works in mysterious ways. Even though he got hurt, may be this was the way to get to the doctor for xrays.

I agree but you should tell the school you want them to fill out an incident report and be informed in the future of anything that happens to him!!!!
I called the school today and asked them why they didnt call etc...I was told his teacher looked at it and didnt think there was need to call me .....that he was going home shortly anyway.
thanks so much everybody! I am praying its nothing...and I totally agree that everything happens for a reason if he hadnt gotten hurt god only knows when I would have found out about his tumor! I called the school they dont want me to come down and fill anything out etc...they told me to send HIM my 11 yr old son in to the nurse to fill out an incident report when he returns back to school????????? crazy!!! needless to say I will be taking him that day and filling it out AND talking to the principal ...all my son is worried about is if his friends can sign his imobilizer
