Anyone going to buy Star Jones book Shine to see how she lost the wieght?
I still think she had her stomach stappled. she is sooooo secretive but I heard the book will tell you.
Any thoughts?

I barely read through her article in People. I highly doubt she lost that much weight watching what she eats and exercies.
Now before anyone jumps on me for that comment, I am comparing the pictures of what she looks like now to what I looked like at my absolute thinnest, and methinks I smell the similarity of gastric bypass here

yea I mean cmon, it took Oprah this long to get it right and loose the weight slowly, Star was losing it so fast.

I think Star Jones now looks like she has a giant alien head. Maybe it's just me......
ETA: there is no way in h e l l I am shelling out any of my hard earned cash on that book!

Me either!
She had her entire wedding sponsored by corporations/companies when she could well afford to pay for it all herself. I bet she did have gastric bypass, and the secret will be that the surgery was sponsored by Lean Cuisine. 
Besides, she lost that weight pretty fast. I bet some kind of surgery was involved.

Then to me, that means she did have the bypass surgery. If she lost it naturally, she would definitely be denying it. I used to watch the View a while ago and she used to talk about how bad bypass was and large women should be comfortable with themselves. If she now says she had bypass, she looks like an a$$

I think she looked better when she was heavier. She looks like a whole new person, but I don't know if it's an improvement. maybe she should have stopped before she got this thin! She looks like an ant!

I agree. I thought she was nicer looking heavier. From time to time I glance at The View. And now all she does is pose in her chair.
I heard that she doesn't flat out tell you that she had a gastric bypass because she doesn't want to be a "role model" for the procedure she used!
