Ozone Park girls - do you like it there? There seem to be a few houses of a decent price range there and DH weren't sure about the area. Also, South Ozone Park - is that essentially Jamaica?

To tell you the truth..not really. Neighborhood has gone down, but there is some "good" parts still. Try Centerville, it's still a good area. Where I am, it's OK....
South Ozone Park, is a little rough....
Houses are nice there tho.
Whats the price range you found in Ozone Park?
I think they are expensive for what they are......

I like OZone Park. There are definitely some good parts and I would raise a family here. Souther Ozone Park, not so much. For the most part it's rough, as jeannine said. I would stay in OZP< but you couldn;t pay me to move to So. OZP. I think if you're looking or a house you really have to look at the specific area where the house is, and I'm sure Jeannine and I can help you if you give us the location to tell you the pros and cons of it. But yes, Centerville is very very nice.

Also, depending on the location, Jennine mentioned they are expensive for what they are. Where I live, I don't think that's true, but I know that our property alues have gone up so much, and we've actualy had people ring our bell on many occasions offering to buy our house. I'm 2 blocks from the subway, so it's a great location
