I got sent home from work today.
I was in the middle of teaching my third grade music class when I felt really dizzy and sick to my stomache, so I sent a note with one of the kids to the main office. The director of the program came to relieve me, and I was tossing my cookies in the bathroom Then I got the spins and started getting clammy. The nurse at my school wanted to call an ambulance, but I told her no. So she said the only way she wouldn't was if I had someone pick me up, so luckily my friend, who is a sub at my school, did not get called in today, so she kindly drove me home. I'm just waiting to hear back from the dr. now. I feel better than I did, but still really sick to my stomache and a little woozy. I just hope everythign is ok

Rachel, are you deydrated? Did you eat something that could have caused this?
I hope you feel better. Rest up an drink a lot of fluids.

Rachel - feel better.
Get some fluids in you - it sounds like you may be dehydrated.
If you start getting fluids in you now - they might not want to monitor you if you are feeling better.

Something similar happen to me at about 8 months... I was dehydrated....

Yeah, it was normal, but my pulse was racing. I called the dr. almost two hours ago and they still haven't called back
I love the nurse at my school. She was an L&D nurse for 25 years, so it's nice to know there's someone with some experience around when I need it.
