Congrats on the great news! So glad to hear everything went well and about your lil Don't worry about DH, I think most men want a boy first, but they always melt around the little - that 's why she'll be Daddy's Little Girl!!

ETA: I can relate TOTALLY to the boy thing, DH wants a boy, the "III" for his family name...but you know what???! We get what get and HEALTHY is all that counts!

My fear has become your reality. We go to the Dr next Wed to find out what we are having, and I think my DH is really banking on a boy. I kinda hope it is for his sake, but I am afraid of him being dissapointed. Any suggestions on what to say, or not say?

I'm sure your DH will come around. My DH was adament that I have a boy   and I was scared to go to my level II for fear it would be a girl, and he would be disappointed. When the test was over, I was like, are you ok? He said...as long as the baby is healthy, that's all that really matters...but I still felt bad somehow that it was a girl, because I wanted to give him the boy he wanted. Anyway...he got over it quick and I'm sure you're DH will too.

I thought he was going to be really bummed for a while but by the time I got home he grabbed me, apologized for his reaction and was dancing around the house. He adores his niece so he is really excited now.
