What's the WEIRDEST thing you hold onto?

In light of my crazy cleaning binge today and with the help of TLC's Clean Sweep I'm throwing stuff out!

I just came across DH's WEIRDEST item he is holding onto ....
When we first met I said...eww...this stinks...I'm going to throw this out... He said NO WAY! He proceeds to tell me this story that when he was younger and worked in the grocery store a can of air freshner was recalled because of a phallic image. So of course everyone in the store that worked there kept one .

Now...even after showing DH that this is an Urban Legend and that Snopes.com and others say it's false he STILL wants this thing... x million.

I still have the two pregnancy tests that I took when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter.

I have that too (my pregnancy test). My dh thinks it's gross because I peed on it...I put it into a plastic ziplock bag...

i have a few wierd things, and i am cleaning to and throwing away lots of stuff so i have come across things...

so far:
my lock from my high school locker
a pair of plaid doc martens signed by johnny rotten
a pair of broken handmade champagne glasses i got in barcelona. i always thought i could get them fixed.
lots and lots of flyers/tickets to places and events i went to.

first thing that comes to mind is a dirty crumpled up dollar bill that I found right before I met DH. I call itmy lucky dollar and have it on display, as ugly as it is! I can't bear to part with it!

I can't think of anything right now, but I'm sort of a pack rat.

I have my bathing suit from when I was 3. Flowers DH gave me 10 years ago. A glow in the dark necklace from 10 years ago (it doesn't glow).

And a $2 bill signed by my mom and siblings in 1990 right before we left PR. I'll never get rid of that...I was 10!

I have my horoscope cut out from the newspaper from the weekend of my first date with DH. And a journal from when we were first dating. I showed it to him once and he was like "why are you keeping that stuff? just throw it out - we don't have room for all of that stuff!"

A snake scarf from when I was in the Third Grade....I called him Slimey.

DH is so grossed out that I still have it

I still have my
Light Brite
Cabbage Patch Dolls
Costumes from my twirling days
Batons from my twirling days
A Gazillion stuffed animals..including Baxter, my little puppy given to me when I was 8 and had my tonsils out.
Strawberry shortcake figures(the ones from the 80's)
I could go on and on and on!! I am definitely a saver!!

I have my preggo tests too, Im not much of a pack rat otherwise. Dh has his parking sticker from high scool. When I met him He had it displayed on the wall I was like- " Um can you take that down its really weird that you are diplaying that on your wall "

corsages from the prom...every dress that I wore to the 8th grade dance, prom and sorority formal...I cannot part with them..even though its not I went to any of those events with any one of importance

My Dh is actually the one who TOLD me to save it!

Actually he has SO many things saved. He is a nut. He has a photo of Jerry Garcia that he took at a concert in I think 94 before he died framed and on his bedside table. NUT!!! Right beside a picture of us!!!
