Kraft is the best! It was the only thing I was told that I "make better than Daddy" (he makes homemade).Chat Icon Chat Icon

Enjoy...this gets requested at every party I ever go to!! Not exactly a diet recipe:

Bettina's Down Home Mac & Cheese

Milk- half gallon or gallon you probably won't need a whole gallonEggs- 8-9 the more eggs you have the more flavor you will haveCheese- Extra Sharp cheddar and Monterey Jack the more you have the better tasting it will be.macaroni- about 2 boxesseasoned salt and pepperbutter or margarineseasoned bread crumbs- optional Boil macaronigrate cheeseonce macaroni is cooked you can let cool for a while or you can add some milk and your eggs togetherseason your macaronionce you have seasoned and added your eggsplace a layer of cheese on the bottom of the pannext layer should be your macaroni add some milkadd another layer of cheeseadd more macaroni, you may not need to add milk right now depending on how much you've already addedadd more cheese, actually just keep layering until you've run out of everything, once you're at the top add milk to prevent drying out, you should be able to see a good amount milk from the top.If you have cheese left over sprinkle it over the top and throughout make sure all of your corners are taken care of with the cheese. If you want, sprinkle on some seasoned bread crumbs for added tasteLet it cook at 350 for about an hour or until the milk has cooked periodically check on it.

Re: Mac N Cheese

Kraft and Velvetta. I crave them both at different times.

I also am weird with my mac and cheese. I cook it and then let it sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes or so - then microwave it. That lets the cheese settle in.Chat Icon
