We got our bedroom set today (pics) - with a question...
We got our bedroom set delivered today - its a king so its a bit cramped, but we're hoping our next house can accomodate a larger set (crossing fingers). I'm in love with it! 
Question: which comforter set goes better in the room? I should add the hallway is a sage green (so is the living room) - most of the house has the greens and cranberry. I don't know if I want it to be a bit different or if I should match the rest of the house - thoughts?

I would go with #1 as i think it will look a little nicer against the walls? Is your bedroom set from thomasville? I think we have the same line in our dining room....

Yep! Oh really? I saw a dining room set I loved there but we don't have a dining room. I should start saving my pennies now for it!

Yep! Oh really? I saw a dining room set I loved there but we don't have a dining room. I should start saving my pennies now for it!
Actually we got something in the mail saying that it was being discontinued (just the dining room set, not the rest of the line)....
But it is very pretty and we considered getting the bedroom set as well... but we wound up with something slightly different from ethan allen.....

i like rooms to be different colors if theyhave doors to break it up - but i am just moving out of an apartment so maybe i want color too much

I LIKE #1 BETTER BUT I FEEL LIKE #2 GOES BETTER WITH YOUR FURNITURE AND THE COLORS...
I THINK MORE TRADITIONAL FURNITURE LIKE YOU HAVE SHOULD BE ACCENTED WITH MORE TRADITINOAL BEDDING

I like both of them, but I voted for the second one! But, if you want of change of color scheme I would go with number 1!

My preference is #2, but I think both sets are nice and either would go well in your BR.

I wouldn't worry about the colors in the rest of the house since the bedroom is a closed space.
Both sets are SO pretty. I think you should think about what kind of look you want in the room and think about what kind of accessories/art you want or have already. The first one is very modern and the second one has more of a feminine, country-ish feel. I'd be torn too. Personally, if DH didn't care, I'd go with 2 but 1 is also a bit more gender-neutral.

i like #1. since the room is painted a very neutral color, i think #2 would look somewhat washed out and blah. not to mention, i am not a fan of floral fabric.
