I think it was pretty sh*tty that she wouldn't turn the guy in, but she murdered him in cold blood. Losing a baby in pregnancy must be awful, but is it worth being murdered? She should have turned him in.

I disagree- but I think the point of showing that was to prove that she is very vengeful. They juxtaposed that with Sayid who understood there was no point in killing AL since Shannon was already dead and there was nothing that would bring her back. I think that AL's journey will be one of learning not to be vengeful.
maybe so, but we really only started learning about her so i am not going to stick to that just yet........but i would have wanted to do the same thing

Maybe... but I think that his first reaction was to attack, but once he calmed down, he obviosly did not- he had the opportunity. SHe thought killing that guy for months and months and had the opportunity to send him to jail, but chose to take justice into her own hands. Maybe they will be shown to be similar, maybe they will be shown to be different. Only time will tell...

Its a little different- he tortured not for personal revenge- but it was his job (as disgusting as that is). Even when he went after Sawyer, it was to get important information, not just personal revenge.

He was considered like police, in Iraq
and lets face it ........police aren't exactly all on the up and up in both countries

my computer died while LOST was on so I could not join in the debate BUT just wanted to say WHAT A GREAT EPISODE 
And I was also bawling at Jin/Sun and Rose/Bernard reunions.. hell I even cried at Michale and Vincent the dog being reunited 
I absolutely LOVED Sayid in this episode, he is an awesome actor. but despite what we learned about AL , I'm sorry, I am still not a fan just yet  HORRIBLE to lose a child like that , but she is still too loco for me

I wasnt hoping, but I was expecting that.
has anyone noticed the tattoo on echos upper left arm. I noticed it last week. It is as dark as his skin and there might be a resemblance to the dharma logo??

I agree, I felt very little smpathy for her...And I know what it feels to lose a child...I dont think the writers played it off that well if they hoped to bring symapthy to the charecter with that....It showed vengence in my mind.....
I dont like Kate either but Im interested to just finally get to the bottom of what happened with her, if its more then just her first love dying...
