What are your favorite Trader Joe's products?
They just opened a new one in Union Square, and I want to try some of their stuff!

They have a roasted red pepper spread of some sort (forgot what it's called as we haven't had it since DH doesn't work on LI anymore)

I worked there briefly at the food stand and one time we made this awesome pizza using their pizza crust, Kalamata olives, feta cheese, and their Pinjur sauce. It was SO good. I make it all the time.

their olive oil b/c it is inexpensive
their frozen, breaded eggplant slices
their fresh tomato basil sauce in the refridgerator aisle.
the frozen mango chunks (i eat them frozen- they are SO good and cheap)
the frozen fish- particularily wild sock-eye salmon-in the freezer aisle. The mahi-mahi is good too
edited to add- the whole wheat pizza crust!!!

I like the frozen vegetable burritos, the chicken pirogies, Kat's cookies ( for people) & some crazy lady was raving about the cotn when I was there once, but I don't rember it being anything special!
My mother findd it pricey, but some things, like Kashi cereals & crackers are less expensive than my Super Stop & Shop.

They have these Chocolate Chip Cookies called Dunks I believe. They are long and thin and one side is dipped in chocolate. Perfect for dunking in coffee or milk!

I like their own Pirate's Booty, the Cat Cookies, their gnocchi with sauce in the pack (frozen), their Honey Os cereal, their granola bars (low in calories), and their frozen french fries.

I had it while visiting California, and for 2 or 3 bucks it was not bad, but I don't think any of the TJs here in NY sell wine. It is too bad really, because when I lived in CA, they had some really good wines at great prices.
I love so much, it is hard to list. I buy cereal there because the prices are great for stuff we would normally buy in the supermarket. My standard purchases are:
Frozen french green beans
Frozen lowfat bean and cheese burritos
Cats cookies
Joe-joe cookies (sandwich cookies with no transfats)
Coffee - I like the Bay Blend and the House blend
English Breakfast tea
Frozen Potstickers
Frozen Salmon steaks
cheeses - they have a huge variety
McCann's oatmeal
Pasta sauces
Rice
Canola and olive oil

Great prices on wine- at least here in Cali
brown rice already prepared in the freezer section
sweet and sour shrimp- freezer section
Meringue cookies
chicken and beef taquitos- freezer section
goat cheese-mmmmmm
bruschetta in the green, white and red container- goes great with the goat cheese...

Yeah, I don't know how it will be set-up. But now I realize they are probably only selling it in NYC.

That's what I thought too, but maybe it will be a seperate store - that is what Costco in Westbury does too.
They sell everything in supermarkets in some states - even hard liquor
