I am so glad everything is ok! I got to the middle of your story (we saw the little bean) and started to get teary eyed.
Im so sorry you had such a rough night!
I would def. send a letter to the head of ER!

My mouth is completely open I am in shock. I did not know how your post was going to end, by the way..congrats, so happy for you that you went home with your baby.
The rest is horrible and unbelieveable. Thank God you have a persistant strenght. I fear i would have crumbled and not question anything. I can't even imagine what you were feeling.

Listen - you absolutely MUST MUST write a letter!!!
With details of everything you went through - you have to do this for all the other women who may go thru what you went thru - AND - be sure to state the triage nurse's insensitivity and peremtaurely telling you that it looks like you miscarried - even an idiot who watch's Gray's anatomoy occasionally (like me) knows you never say anything unless its been supported completely!
Idiots!
Promise you will write that letter!!!
Thank GOD the baby is ok - wow - what a nightmare!!!
I hope you took the day off from work the next day!!!!

I am SO glad that everything turned out to be OK with you and the baby.
I HATE HATE New Island Hospital. My DH has been there since Tuesday -- and probably wouldn't be having as many problems as he is now if the ER doc hadn't sent him home with barely any treatment for an asthma attack Tuesday night. He was back in on Wednesday.
They are seriously the most ridiculous hospital ever. I am so glad that you are doing better.

I'm so glad everything is ok!! I can't even imagine how horrible your experience was.
I'll add my own "I hate New Island Hospital". DH & I were rear-ended the night before I was going to be induced @ LIJ w/ my 1st (I was 9 days late). I went to Mid-Island to make sure the baby was ok and it was a NIGHTMARE!!
They don't have a maternity ward anymore. Thank God.

omg, thank god you and your lil bean are ok. Now I know why my dr told me to never go or call the er unless he says too and he or the widwife would be in contact while I was there. Because of the incompetence of these a- holes in ER!!!!!!!

This was like my ambulance scare but thank God my nurses were awesome.
its amazing how alot of people that work at the hospital have the bedside manner of a piss ant.
