Question 2 - How Long was Labor for You All?
How long were you in labor with each of your kids.
How long did you do actually pushing before your baby arrived or the Doctor opted for a c-section?

10 hours...no pushing...tha baby didn't come down and was facing the wrong way.

I think that if you make it to the pushing part a c-section is less likely. I was induced and never pushed. My induction lasted over 30 hours before I delivered via c-section.

Actual labor at the hospital was 10 hours. Although, I started having contractions earlier in the day. Pushing - 45 minutes.

My water broke at 4:00 and I had Ava at 8:59. I pushed for maybe 5 minutes.....she wanted out!!!!!!!
I hope my son takes after his sister LOL.

My first was 4 hours of labor 30 mins of pushing.
My second was 2 1/2 hours of labor and 15 mins of pushing.
My third was 4 1/2 hours of labor and 20 mins of pushing.

15 hours... 9 hours with no medication and then 6 hours with an epidural. I couldn't get past 5cm, and the baby started to show signs of stress so the doctor then opted for a c-section. No pushing at all...
Edited to add - turned out Alex was sunny side up and facing the wrong way so she would have never come out anyway.

Labor at the hopital was for 4 hours but I had started contractions 4 hours before. I pushed for 20 minutes.

I was in labor for about 4 and a half to 5 hours. I pushed for 20 min. Jules was 7lb12oz...

Five hours from the time I checked in at 3cm and about 30 minutes of pushing. Unfortunately it took the dr 40 minutes to stitch me up. That felt like a LONG time.

I guess about 9 hours. I never made it past 3 cm. and the baby was in distress, so then I had a c-section.

My first was 14 hours of labor from start to finish - with 20 mins of pushing.
My second was less than 90 minutes of labor and less 1 min of pushing. (Got to the hospital at 2:20am, she was born at 2:27am).
I believe it went a lot quicker since I didn't have an epidural (which slows down labor)

I was the hospital for labor about 10 hours (my water broke maybe an 1.5-2 hours before that) and about 3 hours were pushing....

13 hours from when my water broke to the end. i don't remember how long i was pushing for, but it was definitely under an hour...

You are all going to hate me.
ABout 3 or 4 hours of labor and about 3 to 5 pushes. But my baby was 5 weeks premature and spent 10 days in NICU.
