if you have wavy/curly hair, could you post a picture?
i'm so sick of my hair, its wavy/curly and i cant do a thing with it in this weather!
Do you have layers, or is it one length?

I have my hair all one length...
What I do is use a lof of mousse, and then let it air dry..it seems to fight the frizzies..let me try to scan a pic...

I just got mine cut today with a lot of layers. An hour after I got it done and blown out, I had to put it back up in a pony tail again. I've given in to the frizzies this summer. I just couldn't beat them

my hair is just as curly as yours...I have shorter layers in the front, but i just cant keep it down..its always got to be up in a ponytail or a clip...
I know i dont go through this as bad in the winter when the humidity isn't ridiculous like now, but i just hate not being able to do anything with this mop now~!
I think i go through this every year around this time

I get the Japanese Thermal Reconditioning. I couldn't stand the humidity! I just had it done for the fourth and final time. Like anything, the wait to grow out is the worst. I was living in a ponytail!

My hair is curly, but not as curly as Karissa's, Holly, and Lichi..More like big waves I guess..if I scrunch it and use a gel or mousse..I can get tighter curls..My hair also gets VERY frizzy..
But, anyhow, I cut my hair shoulder length and layered it..I thought this would be easier to manage, but it's not...I've been wearing my hair back in a ponytail this whole summer...
ETA: all of the pics I have show my hair straigtened...

Ugh! I did the SAME thing a couple of years ago. I chopped my hair off (just past my ears), and though it was nice straight, it was a MESS curly, that I hated it, and wore it up most of the time!
I think curly hair has to be cut short a certain way... and NOT the way mine was.

I agree...I can't wear my hair curly like this..it has to be straight..and with this humidity..there's no way my hair stays straight..so it goes back..
I am growing it out again!!

My hair WAS all one length. It was so long and dead at the ends. I couldn't take it anymore. I went to Cactus and got it cut and dyed. I left it up to the sylist. I've got to tell you I am not too happy with it, but it's been growing on me. He cut it into layers.
Here are the before and after pics.
I usually use lots of gel and hairspray and let it air dry. There is no way in hell that I would ever use a blowdryer on my hair. Image Attachment(s):
