What did you do/are planning on doing for your 1 yr anniversary?

I'd like to take a little second HM... but was just curious what other people did and wanted to get some ideas..

If you did go away-- where did you go??

For our 1 year anniversary we went to mandalay bay in las vegas, for our 2 year anniversary we went back to the grande st. lucian...dont know what will we do for the 3rd!

We took a cruise to the Bahamas- the same one we took on our honeymoon!

Considering that I am having a baby right before our one year anniversary, there'll be no trip for us this year But that's ok. I'll probably make my mom take the baby and we'll sleep

First- Acapulco... But, on the second we just had the baby so just dinner and exchanged gifts...

we're going on a 10 day cruise - we have to go a month before our anniversary though because of my classes- but its still technically our anniversary trip

We went to El Dorado Royale in Mexico and LOVED it. Thinking about going back for the second anniversary this summer!

We're going to Las Vegas and staying at the Bellagio, which is where we got engaged.

We got married in July, but I am hoping to go to Italy around our one year anniversary.....maybe in May or early June.

We were going to go away but since I'm pregnant we decided not to. Instead we had dinner at our reception hall - they have a restaurant in addition to the ball room/reception area. IT was the BEST food I've had since my honeymoon. We loved it. It was perfect. And our good friends took car of the tab without saying a word to us ...it was so nice. Then we came home and lit our unity candle, haqd a non-alcoholic drink in our toasting flutes, said a prayer and had a bite of our top layer of the wedding cake.

We went to San Francisco for a week.

We were going to go to LA and then drive to Vegas but we are not sure we have the budget for all of that. After the holiday we are going to meet with our travel agent....we are thinking maybe 4 or 5 days in DR or PR instead.

Probably not much. We are spending a lot of cash on home improvements.

We went to Disney for a few days for our 6 month anniversary.

We were going to a B&B in Pennsylvania for a long weekend, but we found out we were pregnant right before so we decided to fly down to Florida that weekend instead to tell DH's parents and grandparents in person.

we went to vermont for a week... stayed at the Equinox, it was beautiful!

Nothing crazy. I wish we could go on a vacation, but that's pretty much impossible right now. Hopefully we'll be able to go for a nice dinner or something.

We went to a nice dinner and to see Avenue Q. A couple of weeks later, we went to Disney.

We just went to dinner. All our extra $ has been going to home stuff.

My mom cooked us a dinner and had immediate family over. Then we went to dinner another night, just the two of us.
Money was a little tight, but, this was perfect.
This year (our 6 year anniversary) we went to Florida. We were going to try last year, but, didnt want to miss my sister having her baby, which happened the night of our anniversary! Glad we didnt go anywhere.
