at 5 weeks how and where did your child sleep?

i am just curious! Hannah is having a hard time sleeping at night. she sleeps well in her swing during the day, if i need to put her down for a few. but at night, she only sleeps in the crib for 1 hr at a time. she usually wakes up after an hour and i cant get her down again for a while.

Ava almost always sleeps in her crib. Infact, I think she likes it in there the best. however, on fussy nights she's slept in the swing (and i'm talking hours, we just putit next to the bed) and the carseat. The dr. said both are fine as long as she's comfortable and strapped in.

She sleeps in her crib at night.
Alison doesn't sleep too much during the day - she takes about 10-15 minute power naps either in the crib or her swing or in the boppy pillow.
If she does take a longer nap it is in the crib

Jacob slept in his carseat until he was 8 weeks old. Then I transitioned him to the crib but i had to tightly swaddle him in the miracle blanket and build a receiving blanket fort around him. Now at almost 7 months he is still swaddled (no fort) but still wakes up alot during the night but I believe that is due to his teething. Oh and he will still only nap in his swing.. And he only naps for 30 min in the morn, and 30 min in the afternoon... he's a HORRIBLE SLEEPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At 5 weeks she was in bed with us either in my arms or in her snuggle nest. She didn't go into her crib until she was 6 months old.

Alyssa sleeps in her pack n play bassinet in our room.

Nicholas is 9 weeks now and sleeps in his swing in my bedroom.

robert was in his bassinet till he was 3 months and he slept very well at night i even put him in there for naps i just got him into a very good pattern and everynight he would only wake up once for a bottle around 330. goodluck

Emily slept in her bouncer seat ONLY for both night and naps until about 2.5 months. At that point she gave us a hard time sleeping and we tried the crib and she must have been ready for it because it worked!

For the first six weeks or so he slept best in his swing during the day, and in our bed at night. Then, he slept in his bassinet next to me at night and in his stroller (which has a bassinet top that I can rock him in) during the day.

MY DD will be 5 weeks on Tues - she sleeps in her bassinet next to my bed at night. On a fussy night, she will fall alseep in her infant seat and we will just put that next to the bed.

she naps in her bouncy chair or on her play mat during the day.

we have been giving her her last bottle around 12:30 aty night and then she sleeps till around 5/5:30 when she wakes again to be fed.

Alyson was sleeping in our bed at night, in the swing during the day or her bassinett for short spurts.

I truly believe some babies feel "lost" in a crib--like it's too much room for them and like feeling snuggled. Maybe you could get her the little co sleeping nest meant for your bed but put it in her crib?

At 5 weeks Ryan was in his crib.. where he was since day 1.

She slept in my arms on the couch, if she slept at all.

You can get her a sleep sack if you want her in the cold air conditioning.

Both of mine were in a bassinet in my room - and usually wound up in my bed. Maddie is a June baby - so by this time, she was in a tshirt, pjs & swaddled in a blanket.

Emma was in a bassinet by my bed. At 3 months she went to her crib.

At 5 weeks Jake was sleeping in his carseat in our bedroom.

We moved Gianna into her crib just before her 2 month birthday. At 5 weeks she was growing out of her bassinet. She would sleep 4-6 hours clips through the night, going down between 11:30pm and 1am.

She started sleeping 8-10 hours clips 4th of july weekend when she turned 2 months old!

At 5 weeks Ellie was sleeping in the bassinet at night and 1st nap of the morning too. She took naps in pack n play and swing. She got really big over the last week or two so now (at 7 weeks) we're putting her in the crib so she'll have more room.

Andrew is 7 weeks and hates his crib!! I think it is too big for him right now. He is used to being in a smaller area. He sleeps in his bouncy seat in the co-sleeper at night. This way the dog can't get him Also it's easier for me to just reach over and pick him up.

During the day he sleeps in his swing but it has to be on Speed 3 and running creek noise or else it doesn't work
