Well, of course I do everything the best and no one does it like me Chat Icon . But I am capable of leaving him with others. In fact, I just left him for 3 nights with my mom so DH and I could take a little getaway. It was VERY hard, but I saw the way she was with him and I knew he was in very good hands. And DH is great, I have no worries leaving him with DH alone.

I think it's good to be able to do that, for your own sanity.

Yes, I definitely feel the same way. I think every mother does, but I'm learning to relax a little bit more. I am a little too overprotective. I have these visions of people dropping him, but I can not not let anyone else feed him or hold him. I just pray that everyone who does hold him and feed him takes good care of him.

I sort of feel this way... I exclusively nurse and I like being her main source of food and comfort. I do trust DH and mom and some family members but never really left her longer than an hour to maybe take a shower, nap, clean, etc... I would miss her too much as exhausting as she can be Chat Icon

I completely feel that way - but i've learned to let go alittle and i think its actually healthy for DD to experience how other people feed her, hold her etc.....I know she doesn't always like other family members methods of doing things - and i know im the person she turns to whenever she is hungry or uncomfortable etc....I always seem to be the person that calms her down and i love that - but in reality I can't always be around her every waking moment. I really want her to get used to being around other people and allowing others to change her, feed her etc...so she can distinguish her likes and dislikes in people and situations.....

I use to feel that way, but now after baby #3, I am confident that my hubby, my parents, my il's, my SIL, and my best friend will take just as good care of them, but these are the only people I would EVER have watch them.

You have to give people a chance to prove themselves I bet you will be pleasantly surprised.
