Mom finds baby dead in hot car
DES MOINES, Iowa, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- A Mount Pleasant, Iowa, woman forgot to take her daughter to the babysitter and found her infant dead in her car when she got off work, police said Tuesday.
Authorities said no charges had been filed against Danelle Stainbrook in last Thursday's death of her daughter, Peyton Burchett, the Des Moines (Iowa) Register reported.
The mother found the dead infant still in her car seat as outdoor temperatures reached 90 degrees that day.
An autopsy was being done to determine if elevated body heat caused the baby's death.
The child would have turned 1-year-old Wednesday.
Officials at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel told the newspaper the family is distraught about the accident and asked people to pray for them.
How awful!!!!!!!!

I just don't get the fact that someone forgot their baby in a car. I look through my windows everytime I get out and I don't even have a child.

I just dont understand how "you forget" a baby? i mean if you can forget a human life then you should probably be locked up in a pretty white jacket.

what the!! I also dont understand it how the he!! do you forget about your baby i mean come on if i had a baby i would NOT forget to bring the baby to the babysitter i think this person should be charged and put in jail for 2 years or even more that poor little innocent angel may god bless her soul and keep her with the other angels. this mother should NOT have been a mother I am sorry i am p-od !!!
