lil sister left the house and is getting married.....
My sis, (a naive 20 year old) met this guy a couple days before Christmas. He proposed to her 2 days later, she said yes. THis caused a big commotion in our family. He's taken thousands of dollars from her, we've found out he deals drugs, but we couldn't open her eyes. She left last night, called us and said she's marrying him next week and that she;s dropping out of school for him (she's a junior at FIT).We dont even know where he lives anymore because he changes apartments monthly
This last couple of months I've noticed that my sis (my best friend) is truly a dumb person.
I just feel that I lost her...... 
ETA: I think I've posted about her before how she threatened to marry him. All the other times, we were mad, but knew she wouldn't do it. Because of many circumstances last night,it's a guarantee they will do it this time though.

You could get the police involved if you know he's a drug dealer. You could tell them about your fears and she what they tell you.
I don't know if they would act on it, but that would be my first call.
She will hate you in the short run, but love you down the road. And, even if she never talks to you again, you will have at least saved her life.
She needs to get out from under him. He is bad news.

so sorry to hear this- I hope she snaps out of it soon and comes home and stays in school!
when I was about her age and ironically a student at FIT-I was dating some one with a HUGE gambling problem- and I too almost gave up everything for him- including school
I snapped out of it one day- and came back home- I couldn't live like that anymore-
she see - she wont be so happy
if you parents can find out were they live- maybe they have a freind who is a polic e officer- if he sells drugs- then I am sure he has drugs there- the only problem with just calling the police is she could get in trouble also

I think you need to get a PI and the police involved.
If I were you i would prevent this marriage at all costs. I know she's an adult and she can amke her own decisionsm, but if he's in it for her monye and he's dealing drugs it is BAD news. She could god forbid wind up dead one day. If I were you, I would really try to get my family to do something.

THANKS GUYS!!!! I'm feeling so lost today. For all that mentioned calling the police, we are just afraid they would arrst her too if she was in the apt with drugs there. If god willing she doesn't drop out, that could affect hr eligiblilty for financial aid.
As for the PI Marymoon, my sis said whatever we dig up on him, she doesn't care. Even if he was a murderer, she said she's still love him last night.

I am so sorry that you are your family have to deal with this. It must be causing so much heartache to see her making all of these bad decisions. Sometimes when so many people are telling you not to do something it makes you want to do it even more. I hope it all works out for you and that she realizes on her own that this is not the best thing for her.

Oh gosh..I am so sorry. I have a sister the same age. As much as I would want to lock her away to keep her away from this guy, she is a legal adult. Short of trying to get him thrown in jail (like a setup lol) I don't know what I would do. Just be there for her....try not to cut ties so at least you can still be in contact with her.

I am so sorry you are going through this. My sister is the same age as well, lets just say, sometimes are not easy. But I am here for her and I try to stay strong. That's really the only advice I can give. Your sister may "wake up" one day and realize.."Wow, what am I doing?"
