It's for my mom's best friend's grandson. Her son and DIL are 24 weeks pregnant with their first grandchild. Jen was contracting last week and was put on bedrest and medication at home. It didn't work and last night was admitted to the hosptial. She's 1cm dilated and her cervix continues to shorten. It looks like she will be in the hosptial for the duration of the pregnancy. They have her on meds to stop the contractions and steriods to help the baby's lungs to grow. But we hope that she will be able to hold out for a few more weeks to give the baby more time to grow.
To make it even harder on my mom's friend, she is in Ohio, and her son and DIL are in California.

Im definitely sending prayers her way. Im 24 weeks and cannot imagine what she is going through When I had my daughter, the maternity ward was full so they put some of us in the area that had Moms to be who were having complications. I felt bad even being in the area with a newborn so my heart goes out to your friends.
