When we first starting dating - every one of his friends and his parents' friends kept commenting that I'm a carbon-copy of his mom (his parents live in FL - so I met them after we'd been together for several months). After meeting her and knowing her for five years now, I can certainly see the similarities.....but I think they're only to a point. That said - the qualities that are similar are those that I'm quite proud of.
