UPDATED - IN FIRST POST I've been having contractions...
Ive been having them all day apparently. There is no set amount of time between them but it's happened 9 times in the last 4 hours. What do you guys think? Should I call my dr? Its so late, 9:30pm already...I dont know what to do but Im a little worried.

I'm FINALLY back from the dr! They had me on a monitor for a couple of hours and I am having contractions but they are not regular right now.
They did the FFN test (to determine if I am in preterm labor) and will get those results back later today maybe even tonight. If its positive they are going to admit me to the hospital. If its negative they will probably monitor me more and they said they'd take it from there.
I have to monitor my own contractions and if they are 10 mins apart or more than 6 per hour I have to call them right away and they will admit me to the hospital.
So for now Im supposed to stay off my feet so I'm going to go take a nap and rest and wait for them to call me with my test results.

Call your doctor now please. They can stop them if they aren't BH & are true contractions.

Quite honestly knowing what you went through yesterday, I would say yes. It may be nothing and normal, but I would want the doctor to tell me it was nothing.

I agree that they are normal so much as they are just tightening or quickening and you feel no severe pressure or burning. Contractions that are real labor contractions and not BH usually have some difference in them like burning, more "deep" feelings to them if that makes sense.
IF you have felt this way before, then no worries, the increase is likley due to your stress and horrible experience ...

I talked to my dr, I was worried. She said if they keep up and get more frequent to call her again and she will have me go to the hospital. She said the stress from the train accident could be the reason Im having so many but she isnt too concerned right now. She told me to come to the office first thing tomorrow morning for a FFN, I have no idea what that is.

An FFN is a fetal fibronectin test which test to see if you will go into labor within the next 2 weeks. They take what looks like a cotton swab and swab a litte of your cervix. It is not always accurate and they are such things as false positive. Hope you feel better
